Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Amundi

The latest moves, appointments and personnel changes in the Asia-Pacific region's wealth management sector.

Amundi, the asset management group that announced quarterly figures at the end of April, has appointed Jian Xiong as Asia insurance specialist.

Jian Xong is based in Singapore and reports to Eddy Wong, CEO, Asia and Lawrence Wee, head of institutional sales, South Asia. The firm said Jian Wong’s appointment will strengthen the development of investing offerings and bespoke solutions for insurance clients across Asia.

Jian Xiong, who began his career in the banking sector, has more than 15 years of experience across the asset management, insurance, and banking sectors. Before his new role, he was senior director in the Asia-Pacific insurance solutions team at abrdn [now Aberdeen]. Before this, he was head of investment at China Life Insurance Singapore.

Jian Xiong holds an MBA degree from the National University of Singapore and he is a CFA and FRM charter holder.
